German sick music, or "Entartete Musik" in German, refers to the music that was banned and suppressed by the Nazi regime in Germany during the 1930s and 1940s. This term was used to describe music that was considered degenerate, as it did not align with the ideals of the Nazi party. Composers of this music included Jewish, communist, or other marginalized groups, and their works were often labeled as subversive or harmful to society. Despite the efforts to suppress it, German sick music has since been recognized for its artistic value and historical significance. **
